Purpose: Eurocup2012 USA Committee is an independent structure created by the Executive Committee of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC) to strategically unite American, Polish and Ukrainian organizations, and business interests in the US to help promote the 2012 European soccer championship, one of the largest international events that will take place in Poland and Ukraine 3 years from now. 

Composition: The Committee is chaired by Andrew Lubelski and its initial membership includes representatives of the PACC as well as leaders of other prominent organizations, including Polish National Alliance/Polish American Congress, the Chicago Society, and Polish American Contractor Builders Association.

Our Goals: The Committee is primarily dedicated to promoting the 2012 EuroCup throughout the United States and to creating and supporting related economic opportunities before, during, and after the 2012 event. This will be accomplished through:  

• planning and implementing conferences and other promotional events for participants from both Poland/Ukraine and the U.S.;


• helping accelerate planned infrastructure improvements before 2012 in Poland and in Ukraine;


• promoting and celebrating soccer as a sport in the U.S.;


• informing U.S.-based soccer fans about EuroCup2012, and about direct participation options; and


• promoting goodwill, understanding of European culture, and positive image for Polish and Ukrainian communities in the U.S.
